STTARS assists people from a refugee and migrant background who have experienced torture or been traumatised prior to arrival in Australia. Services include counselling and advocacy program, community activities to foster trust and social connection, expertise in delivering cross cultural mental health services. We provide training and professional advice and consultancy to schools, police, health and mental health professionals. Clients often need assistance or support in contacting STTARS for the first time. Referral forms can be sent to the to the Intake Coordinator at STTARS
