The Speech Pathology Department provides comprehensive evaluation and management for adults with swallowing and/or communication disorders (including voice and cognition). See website links for further information available: EntryProcedures Acute inpatient services are provided to all clinical units within the hospital, covering both medical and surgical admissions. The areas of head and neck cancer, trauma and stroke, neurology and geriatrics represent the majority of referrals. The Speech Pathology Department also provides a limited outpatient service.: WaitingListDetails The Adelaide Voice Clinic is based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and offers specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment advice to people experiencing problems with their voice or requiring review following head and neck cancer treatment.
