What to expect on your first visit
Your podiatrist will conduct a thorough assessment of your feet at the first appointment. This may include:
• Asking about your medical history and medications.
• Visual inspection of your feet and legs.
• Assessment of the blood flow of your feet.
• Assessment of your footwear.
Your podiatrist will use this information to devise a foot health plan. This may include education to you and your carer, self management techniques, appropriate referral or advice about further appointments with the service..c
