The Discount Pharmacy Group is excited to offer customers an alternative to ready-made medications, via our compounding lab at Macquarie Discount Pharmacy.
Pharmacy compounding is the art and science of tailor making medications to suit the individual needs of the patient. This means that medications can be tweaked to address the symptoms and conditions of the person being treated.
Compounding also means that we at Discount Pharmacy Group can provide you with alternative dosage forms rather than just regular tablet. We can make your personal medication into capsules, liquids, troches and suppositories, nasal spray, topical preparations and we can also change the flavour of medications if your child has difficulties with ready-made medication flavour.
There are a wide range of health conditions that can be treated by compounding, including pain management, Hormone replacement therapy, cosmeceutical and anti-ageing, dental needs, paediatric concerns, sports medicine, skin conditions such as aczema and psoriasis, as well as veterinary compounding for your very loved pets and animals.

Click & Collect:
We are now offering customers the convenience of online shopping, with 'click and collect', at any of Discount Pharmacy Group Pharmacies. If you are unable to visit one of our Discount Pharmacy, you can now shop online at that store and collect your purchase from that same store, usually within 24 hours. You also have the option of having your purchase posted.
Webster Packing:
Discount Pharmacy Group offer the service of Webster Care, as we understand that taking a number of different medications can be difficult, but with our Webster-Pack service, it can help take the worry away, and bring independence and ease of taking medication back to the patient, the carer and loved ones. Discount Pharmacies offer Webster-Pack services that will work with the patient, and their doctor to make sure taking regular medication is as easy as possible. Please enquire in store or call one of our Discount Pharmacies and speak to our friendly and helpful Pharmacists.
