QUT Health Clinics - Psychology & Counselling provides affordable, professional Psychology, Family Therapy, Counselling and assessment services for the general public, including children, adolescents, and staff and students of QUT.
Therapists are QUT postgraduate students in either Clinical Psychology, Educational and Developmental psychology or Counselling. The clinical and educational psychology interns are either registered or have provisional registration as psychologists. All students receive extensive supervision from highly qualified and experienced supervisors, and are trained in evidence-based treatments. The counselling therapists come from a wide range of professional backgrounds and work in teams closely supervised by highly experienced counsellors.
Sessions are provided on both an individual basis and through group therapy including couples and families. Services are offered in a specially designed suite of rooms. The Reflecting Team practice is another innovative way of providing Individual, Couple and Family Therapy, Clinical Supervision & Case Consultation.
