The Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre (QTMHC) is a statewide service which provides an information, referral, resource and clinical consultation service. Services are provided free of charge. State wide service that works with consumers and their families and mental health workers to ensure that mental health services provided are culturally appropriate. Provides information, resources, training, program development and clinical consultation services across Queensland. The centre has bilingual /bicultural mental health consultants from over 80 different language and cultural groups that are available to provide consultation advice and assessment and short term interventions. All services are provided free of charge.
