The Narungga Elder Care health service program assists with home care and support, personal care assistance and home-delivered meals to enable older people to remain living at home. Narungga Elder covers the whole Yorke Peninsula with clients currently living in Port Victoria, Point Pearce, Maitland, Moonta and Wallaroo.
Eligibility - Aged and younger Aboriginal people with disabilities living in Yorke Peninsula. Assessment by Aged Care Assessment Team required.
Point Pearce Clinic 08 8832 2796. The Aboriginal Health Team works with local Aboriginal communities including outreach to Point Pearce to improve their health and wellbeing. They advise, inform and refer to mainstream services. They also provide health screening, diabetes care, counselling and assist health workers to understand the needs and culture of the Aboriginal community.
