Patient accommodation comprises both single and shared rooms that are modern and well equipped, with ensuite bathroom and toilet facilities, direct dialling STD telephone and remote controlled TV with cable TV included.
Our nurses are highly qualified and are maintain their skills through regular professional development and mandatory competencies and are eager to make your stay in hospital as comfortable as possible.
Pre-admission Booking in
A pre-admission booking in interview is offered to all patients being admitted to Mildura Private Hospital. This allows staff to obtain all relevant information required for the admission and impart relevant information to the patient and their family. A financial estimate will also be given at this time.
At pre-admission booking in, all paediatric patients who require surgical procedures will be offered the opportunity to meet nursing and theatre staff prior to admission.

During this visit, information is given to the parent, including the option of accompanying your child to the operating room. This visit allows you and your child to familiarise yourselves with the hospital and offers the opportunity to ask questions.
Orthopaedic Pre-Admission Clinic
A Pre-Admission clinic is conducted for patients undergoing major joint replacement surgery. An appointment will be made for you at your pre-admission interview. At this clinic you will have the opportunity to speak with one of our nurses to organise any tests required prior to admission, inform staff of your medical history and discuss any concern you may have regarding your admission. Appointments with Physiotherapists and nursing staff are conducted at this time, ensuring the patient and their families are prepared for the surgery and understand the expectations for recovery following surgery. Occupational Therapy home visits are also arranged at this time.
Staff Medical Officer
Dr. Donald Hartley is the long standing Staff Medical Officer at the hospital and provides support for medical and nursing staff.
Dr. Hartley is available to provide assistance in the care of all patients in cooperation with their own admitting doctor..c
