Belconnen Community Men's Shed is a registered member of the Australian Men's Shed Association. The main aim of the shed is to provide a safe place for men to gather and interact with other men.
At this stage there is some scroll sawing being taught to Sri Lankan refugees and preparations are underway for a number of trade related activities. The first community project is underway, the restoration of the train and cubby house from the day care at the Belconnen Mall run under the auspices of Belconnen Community Services. The Shed is auspiced by Mosaic Baptist and is run on non denominational lines. The contact number listed is the office at Mosaic. Currently the Shed is opened every Wednesday and Saturday 9am=12pm. A specialist group is also attending on Thursdays from 9am – 12pm. All activities are carried out by volunteers.
