IThe department provides a service to inpatients referred from the orthopaedic, general medical, general surgical wards, sub-acute (rehab) beds and to the Emergency Department and the short stay unit.
Evening antenatal education classes and postnatal education classes are provided to patients who are booked into the hospitals maternity ward.
An outpatient service is provided to acute orthopaedic patients referrals as above
There is a physiotherapist at weekends for limited hours for priority inpatients and referrals from the Emergency Department or short stay unit.
The Appliance department is available for the hire or sale of equipment to hospital inpatients.
