Emergency medical care/casualty. Accident and Emergency services for the hospital are provided by local general practitioners on a private practice basis located at the rear of the Hospital, off Harborview Terrace. Entry Procedures Eligibility - Admission by GP or specialist.

Mount Barker District Soldiers Memorial Hospital

The ED is located on Level 3 - please use the northern entrance. Open 24 hours. Our first priority is to treat patients with life or limb threatening illness or injuries, and these patients are attended urgently on arrival. The department is divided into paediatric and adult areas, with separate triage areas for each. See website links for further information available.  No referral required.

Flinders Medical Centre

Chest Pain Clinic open 24 hours for Chest Pain Patients. On arrival to the Emergency Service, you will see a specialist emergency triage nurse to assess and determine the severity of your medical condition. This enables life-threatening conditions to be seen as an absolute high priority. The Ashford Emergency Service is predominantly an Adult Emergency Service to treat people who present for medical assistance.

Meningie and District Memorial Hospital and Health Services Emergency medical care. 

Meningie Hospital and Community Health Centre

The private Emergency Service has been established to provide assessment of patients with acute medical and surgical conditions who require an acute injury service, have a local doctor or specialist referral or have been a recent inpatient at the hospital only.

St Andrew's Hospital

24 hour Emergency Centre purpose built and staffed by highly qualified emergency doctors and nurses. Open 365 days a year. Patients are seen according to clinical priority.

Calvary Adelaide Hospital

Entry Procedures - Report to reception on arrival. Patients are triaged according to clinical priority. Royal Adelaide Hospital is the largest trauma centre for South Australia supported by cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, orthopaedic, burns, spinal injuries and hyperbaric medicine specialist units.

When you first arrive, a Triage Nurse will initially assess your child's condition. All children are treated according to their medical urgency. Our first priority is to treat children with life or limb threatening illness or injuries, and these patients are attended to immediately.

Once you have spoken to the Triage Nurse you will be asked to see the Receptionist to confirm name, address and your general practitioner. 

Please have your medicare card with you when you present.
