Family Drug Support (FDS) is a caring, non-religious organisation which provides non-judgemental, non-directive support and information to families and friends of people using drugs and/or alcohol across Australia. 

FDS provides a toll free, 24/7 national telephone support line in addition to support groups, education programs, printed/online resources, counselling and bereavement services.

Renewed Hope

Palmerston Association is a not for profit provider of alcohol and substance use education and counselling in Western Australia, operating from nine offices in Western Australia, including the South Metro Community Drug Service (SMCDS), Great Southern Community Drug Service Team (GSCDST), Palmerston Perth and Palmerston Farm (a therapeutic community south of Perth).

The Ruah Centre is an inner-city Day Centre, located in Northbridge, for men and women who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless and who:
•	Are over the age of 20 years.
•	Are on a low income.
•	May have mental health issues.
•	May have problematic alcohol or substance use issues.
•	Are socially isolated.
•	Have any other needs or issues.

People are welcome; regardless of culture, background, religion, beliefs, sexuality, or disability.

The Ruah Centre provides access to:
•	Showers,
•	Computers,
•	Telephones,
•	Activities,
•	Hot drinks, toast, and fruit.

Many visiting services provide specialised advice and support at the Centre, including:
•	Homeless Healthcare
•	Street Law,
•	Centrelink Community Team.

Fresh Start Recovery Program

Country callers 1800 653 203  Support groups are held every second Tuesday between 6:30PM and 8:30PM. Call during office hours for further information.  Group is facilitated by the parent volunteers.  Alcohol and Drug Support Service also offers an online Live Chat option.

Parent and Family Drug Support Line (Metro Callers)

Local Drug Action Groups (LDAGs) were established in 1996 as part of a government initiative predicated on the belief that an important part of an overall response to addressing alcohol and other drug issues was to work from within the community. 

Local Drug Action Groups Incorporated (LDAG Inc.) works in partnership with the Government of Western Australia. LDAG Inc. is a not for profit organisation which is directed by a board of management consisting of ten representatives from both regional and metropolitan-based LDAGs. 

LDAGs provide an opportunity for people to actively participate in their local community. Made up of volunteers, LDAGs combine to take action to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug related harm.

• Our vision is to bring together members of the community who, on a voluntary basis, combine to undertake a range of activities to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug related harm in their local communities

Target Groups
• LDAGs are a State wide network of individual communities, working together to make a difference at a grassroots level. Currently there are over 60 LDAGs operating throughout Western Australia.
