Drug and Alcohol Youth Service (DAYS) is a partnership between Mission Australia and Next Step, and provides young people and their families with a comprehensive range of alcohol and other drug services. The facility accommodates up to seven young people in a residential setting for approximately 3-14 days.

The Drug and Alcohol Youth Service also provides a family program, which includes counselling, information and support to parents or friends of young drug users to assist in a better understanding of drug and alcohol issues.

•	Young people under 21 including those in Juvenile detention (aged 10+) with alcohol and other drug misuse issues who require withdrawal support or those wanting to change their drug lifestyle 
•	Parents and significant others

•	Referrals can be made through the duty system Monday to Friday 12.30-4.00pm. 
•	Police/ justice system referrals 
•	Must be 21 years of age and under

Mission Australia Drug And Alcohol Youth Service For Young People

Provides a range of treatment services for people experiencing problems associated with their alcohol and other drug use, as well as support for families. Services include outpatient treatment services and pharmacy, youth services, and the community pharmacotherapy program. Supports community based health service providers to provide opioid substitution treatments. 

Next Step Drug and Alcohol Services - Metropolitan Outpatient Services

At AA, privacy and anonymity is respected. There is no requirement or expectation to come back to any AA meeting. They can be attended often or as little as you prefer. AA meetings are relaxed, friendly and open. To find a meeting in your area visit the website or call the phone number listed. The primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Alcoholics Anonymous WA

The Attach service provides a four to six month in-home counselling program for parents who have a drug or alcohol problem.

Attach recognises problematic drug and alcohol use rarely occurs in isolation. We support parents to increase positive parenting skills, develop emotion management and coping skills, and build confidence to address drug and alcohol issues. We help parents identify high risk situations and to develop strategies to keep them and their children safe.

Referrals will be accepted from a range of sources including contacting Attach yourself, referrals from Alcohol and Drug agencies, Department for Child Protection and Family Support, Mental Health Services, Department of Corrective Services

Peer Based Harm Reduction WA (formerly known as WASUA) provides non-judgmental, friendly peer based support, information and education, advocacy and harm reduction services and services aimed at reducing the transmission of Blood Borne Viruses and Sexually Transmitted Infections associated with drug use amongst the community in WA.
