Baptist Care SA

A residential therapeutic community for men and women aged from 18 years with drug or alcohol related problems. The Woolshed provides a drug-free environment and offers a structured program to develop living, work and interpersonal skills through education, counselling, group work and recreation activities. It has associated halfway houses in Adelaide and links with self-help groups.

This service offers assessment and inpatient medical detoxification in a supportive environment for people withdrawing from alcohol and a range of other drugs.

We run a residential rehabilitation program for men aged 16 and up.

Teen Challenge SA Inc - Maylands

Provides assistance for the homeless, housing assistance and legal counsel to health support, free meals as well as drug and alcohol counselling. Has a lounge area where people can have a cuppa and watch TV, plus there are shower, toilet and laundry facilities. A nutritious three course lunch is provided at minimal cost six days a week.
