Bright FACES

Working with individuals to improve communication and swallowing skills due to acquired brain injuries such as Stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury, or progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease or Multiple Sclerosis. Communication and swallowing difficulties may also be present since childhood. A Speech Pathologist can provide assessment and support for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Everyday Independence Melton

The Speech Pathology Department provides services for children aged 0-6 years (prior to school entry) with moderate to severe needs in two or more areas of development on a standardised assessment and are persistent in nature and those who have a formal diagnosis e.g Specific Learning Disability, ASD or a severe language/ articulation disorder.
The department provides formal assessment of articulation, phonology, language, pragmatics and fluency skills. If after assessment therapy is deemed appropriate, intervention is provided in six session modules (excluding assessment) and children are eligible for multiple modules of therapy, if deemed necessary. We provide intervention for receptive language difficulties, expressive language difficulties, phonological disorders, articulation disorders and pragmatic difficulties. All services are centre based.

Melton Health

Provides extensive services to children under school age and to adults. Provides services to children with mild to moderate difficulties in functional skills in the areas of speech and language that are not likely to have long term implications for the child. Children with stuttering difficulties are also eligible for these services. Services may be provided on an individual basis or in a group therapy setting dependent on the child's needs. 

Melton Health & Community Services

This service provides speech and language assessment and therapy for preschool and school aged children between 3-18 years. The areas of special interest include assessment and treatment for; language difficulties, speech sound development, stuttering and literacy. 

Additional Home-visit consultations are available at an additional cost.
