Understanding Minds

I work with children, adolescents and their families (carers), and care providers primarily in either youth justice or child protection contexts.  The focus of my practice is on assisting individual's to develop their potential and create positive lives for themselves.  The specific issues I work with include: developmental trauma and attachment disorders; substance misuse; sexual abuse; problem/abusive sexual behaviours; areas of juvenile offending (including violent and sexual) and family reunifications after significant trauma (including abuse).
