Mental Health Emergency Response Line - Peel

The Body Esteem Program (BEP) is community-based, Peer supported eating disorder program available in WA offering Youth, Adult, Online and Carer Programs. Service is a safe space for individuals impacted by Eating Disorders to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing, and provide hope that recovery is possible.

The Start Court is focused on providing more options for people in Court with mental illness, and more capacity for the Court to respond in ways that support people and also address offending behaviour.  

Operating out of the Magistrates Courts at Perth, the Start Court aims to:
- To increase an individual's connection with treatment support services and re-engage individuals with the most appropriate services to help manage their mental illness
- To find a therapeutic solution to address offending behaviour in a manner which helps an individual manage their mental health issues and make positive changes to their life to help reduce the likelihood of future contact with the criminal justice system.
- To increase public safety and ensure those with mental health issues who need help receive it.
