What this medicine is used for

(ARTG)

The Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride and Glucose Intravenous Infusion is indicated for replenishing fluid losses, as an energy source and for restoration or maintenance of sodium, potassium and chloride ions in the body fluids. It may be used as a vehicle of drug delivery where intravenous delivery is appropriate and the drug is compatible with this solution.

How to use this medicine

This medicine contains one component only.

  • Intravenous Infusion
  • Sterile, clear colourless or faintly straw-coloured solution, practically free from visible particles
