What this medicine is used for

(ARTG)

Zydol SR is indicated for the management of severe pain where: other treatment options have failed, are contraindicated, not tolerated or are otherwise inappropriate to provide sufficient management of pain, and the pain is opioid-responsive, and requires daily, continuous, long term treatment. Zydol SR is not indicated for use in chronic non-cancer pain other than in exceptional circumstances. Zydol SR is not indicated as an as-needed (PRN) analgesia.

How to use this medicine

This medicine contains one component only.

Component :

  • Tablet, modified release
  • Oral
  • White, round, biconvex, film-coated tablet approximately 10mm in diameter. Engraved "T1" on one side and the Grunenthal logo on the other side.
