What this medicine is used for

(ARTG)

Metformin is indicated in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, particularly in overweight patients, when dietary management and exercise alone does not result in adequate glycaemic control. Metformin HCl Extended Release Tablets may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents, or with insulin

How to use this medicine

This medicine contains one component only.

Component :

  • Tablet, modified release
  • Oral
  • White to off white, capsule shaped tablets with MX debossed on one side and 750 on other side.

Storage conditions

  • Store below 25 degrees Celsius
  • Shelf lifetime is 36 Months.
