What this medicine is used for

(ARTG)

Alkeran is indicated for the palliative treatment of multiple myeloma and advanced ovarian adenocarcinoma. Alkeran has a significant therapeutic effect in a proportion of patients suffering from advanced breast carcinoma and may be used in the treatment of polycythaemia vera. Alkeran has been used as an adjuvant to surgery in the management of breast carcinoma.

How to use this medicine

This medicine contains one component only.

Component :

  • Tablet, uncoated
  • Oral
  • White branded biconvex compression coated tablets with a pink core coded B2A.

Storage conditions

  • Store at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius
  • Protect from Moisture
  • Shelf lifetime is 3 Years.
