What this medicine is used for

(ARTG)

INDICATIONS AS AT 22 February 1995: ATIVAN is indicated for: 1. Management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety or anxiety associated with depressive symptoms. Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with anxiolytic. The physician should periodically reassess the usefulness of the drug for the individual patient. 2. Pre-surgical medication taken the night before surgery and/or 1-2 hours prior to the surgical procedure.

How to use this medicine

This medicine contains one component only.

Component :

  • Tablet, uncoated
  • Oral
  • A flat, white to off white, round tablet with bevelled edged, bisected on one side and imprinted C11 on the other side

Storage conditions

  • Store below 25 degrees Celsius
  • Shelf lifetime is 20 Months.
