What this medicine is used for
(ARTG)
INDICATIONS AS AT 7 AUGUST 2001 : Griseofulvin is indicated in the treatment of fungal infections of the skin, scalp, hair or nails, where topical therapy is considered innappropriate or has failed. When griseofulvin is given orally for systemic treatment of fungal infections, it enables newly formed keratin of the skin, hair and nails to resist attack by the fungi. As the new keratin extends, the old infected keratin is shed.
How to use this medicine

This medicine contains one component only.
Component :
- Tablet, uncoated
- Oral
- A round, flat, white to off-white, beveled edge tablet engraved with a breakline on one side and "G 125" on the other side
Storage conditions

- Store below 30 degrees Celsius
- Store in a Dry Place
- Shelf lifetime is 3 Years.
