Lignocaine solutions are indicated for the production of local anaesthesia in routine dental procedures and oral surgery by means of infiltration and nerve block techniques. Lignocaine solutions with adrenaline are recommended for oral surgery requiring prolonged duration of anaesthesia and haemostasis.
