Betadine cold sore paint pain relief formula contains: an antiseptic ingredient which helps check the infection, and a pain relieving ingredient which provides temporary relief from the pain of cold sores. An aid in the treatment of cold sores. Betadine cold sore products if applied at the first signs of a cold sore (usually an itching or tingling sensation) can help against the infection. They can inactivate the virus, thus reducing the risk of spreading the infection.
