OCD Stop! Program is designed to help you understand more about obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and to learn strategies to better manage OCD improve your overall mental health and wellbeing. This program is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP) and has been developed by psychologists and researchers from the National eTherapy Centre at Swinburne University.
If you reside in Australia, you can also sign up to their free Therapist Assist option to access 12 weeks of support from their therapists while you use the program.
The OCD Stop! program has 12 modules that you can do in your own time and have access to for 12 months. It provides information about OCD and introduces skills and strategies that can help you to:
- Improve your understanding of OCD
- Learn practical techniques to manage anxiety in OCD
- Discover ways to manage intrusive thoughts
- Be guided through exposure and how to manage your responses
- Learn how to maintain the gains from the course
