A TBI is a brain injury that occurs as a result of a physical impact to the head or body.
Up to 200,000 TBI occur in Australia each year – with many of these unreported or undiagnosed.
Vision and mission
Connectivity undertakes activities to benefit, support, inform and educate the community about TBI. They link together people with lived experience of TBI, their family and carers as well as researchers, clinicians and health care providers to build the evidence base and improve outcomes for people following TBI of all severities.
They strive for a healthier Australia due to the enhanced knowledge and management of TBI, including concussion.
