Vision and mission
HeartKids seeks to give every child, teenager, and adult in Australia with congenital or childhood-onset heart disease a fighting chance to live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.
How HeartKids can help
HeartKids offer:
- Direct support and guidance from HeartKids Support Coordinators across Australia to assist in navigating journeys with childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD)
- Education and information resources, including our Resource Library with factsheets, podcasts, and videos relating to CoHD
- Mental health support for people and their families impacted by CoHD
- HeartKids Helpline services by phone, webchat and email, five days a week
- In-hospital and community events, morning teas, and social connection opportunities for those on a journey with CoHD.
