How MindSpot can help
The MindSpot Clinic offers a range of digital mental health services such as:
Online psychological assessment
These online assessments help people to understand their mental health. It involves answering questions about your physical and emotional symptoms, and how these are impacting your life. Your results will be available upon completion and can be accessed through your personal dashboard.
Teletherapy
Telephone therapy with up to four sessions with a MindSpot mental health professional to learn skills for coping with difficulties of daily life, which may be contributing to symptoms of anxiety and depression.
MindSpot online treatment courses
MindSpot's treatment courses have been carefully evaluated in clinical trials conducted at Macquarie University. These clinically-guided courses help people manage different mental health symptoms and are designed for people who would like to follow a structured approach to recovery.
Courses and programs
MindSpot Clinic treatment courses were developed at the eCentreClinic, Macquarie University, and have been used by thousands of Australians.
The seven treatment courses are:
- Wellbeing Course: This course helps people learn to manage stress, anxiety and low mood. It is designed for adults aged 25–65 years of age.
- Wellbeing Plus Course: This course helps people learn to manage stress, anxiety and low mood. It is designed for adults aged 60+ years of age.
- OCD Course: The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Course is designed to help people with distressing obsessions or compulsions learn to overcome those symptoms.
- PTSD Course: The Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Course is designed to help people who have experienced a trauma learn to overcome their symptoms.
- Mood Mechanic Course: This course helps young adults aged 18–25 years learn to manage mild, moderate, or severe symptoms of depression and anxiety.
- Indigenous Wellbeing Course: This course is designed to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults aged 18 years and over to learn to manage mild, moderate and severe symptoms of depression and anxiety.
- Chronic Pain Course: This course is an internet-delivered pain management program for adults aged 18 years and over.
- Chronic Conditions Course: This course helps people learn skills to manage the impact of living with a chronic physical health condition.
